# 7.6.2. Probability

If a number is formed of 2 different digits from the set

- A
- B
- C
- D 0

### Example

If a number is formed of 2 different digits from the set

### Solution

Write the sample space

Then find the number of elements in the sample space and the number of elements in the set of 2-digit numbers that have an odd units digit.

To find the probability that the units digit of a 2-digit number is odd, divide the number of 2-digit numbers with an odd units digit by the number of all possible 2-digit numbers (the number of elements in the sample space).
