First simplify the fraction until we get a number raised to the power of 2
Remember that when we multiply powers with the same base, we add the exponents. When we divide powers with the same base, we subtract the exponents. Also keep in mind that a number raised to a negative power is equal to the reciprocal of that number raised to the positive value of the power.
Then take the square root of the result. The square root of a number raised to the power of 2 is equal to the absolute value of that number. The square root and the exponent cancel each other out.
